Chiswick Mews Townhouses

One of our more commercial projects for a local developer. Canada Bay Council would not allow multi-unit development in this part of Chiswick at the time. The design proposed to the Council involved subdividing the site into four lots, creating a mews-like access to the rear lots, and constructing two dual occupancies on each. The council had no issue with this approach, which achieved the same outcome for eight townhouses on the site. The front four townhouses comprised three-bedroom dwellings over a double garage on the lower ground floor with rooftop access. The rear dwellings were of a lower scale and only two storeys.
